"ETA: The company reached out and offered a magnetic knife holder, which is also gorgeous and works much better for the Frostier line of knives. Their website indicates that this block will not properly fit Frostfire knives, but it would be good to have that indicated on the Amazon page as well. For any set that this block is made for it is a beautiful, sturdy, easy-to-clean knife block. The company definitely went above and beyond too. I can't wait to write full reviews of the knives and the magnetic holder. This is a nice looking, robust knife block but it DOES NOT work with the frostfire line of knives. The steak knife slots are too close together and by the fourth knife they are so bunched and tilted that you cannot push the knife all the way in. The other slots just don't fit well with the sloped connection point of the handle and the blade of the frostfire series so it feels ill-fitted and cheap."

"I bought this to use with a set of knives that I put together myself. It looks good and has a lot of capacity for storage. The slots are deep too, except for the steak knife slots, all of the other slots will fit knives with blades at least 8-inches long. There are two things I don't like. 1. The slots for the steak knives are too close together so if you have knives with thicker ergonomic handles, they may not fit. 2. Some of the slots for ""smaller"" knives could be made to fit wider blades simply by widening the slots. Some of the slots have over 3/4"" between them and could be widened bout 1/4"" each and the block would be more flexible without sacrificing functionality at all."
