These are very nice

"These are very nice looking streak knives. The resin and wood handles are gorgeous and each one is unique. It’s a very pleasing look. The blades came very sharp, easily passing the paper cutting test right out of the box. I don’t know how well the divots on the blade make it better for slicing through steak, but it cuts like a hot knife through butter. The edge treatment also is a nice e touch, sort of like a single layer Damascus steel look. The wooden storage block is attractive and functional, and looks good on the dining room table. Weighted base with rubber feet keep it in place, with the individual slots for the four knives. Large enough to comfortably pull an individual knife out of the block, but reasonably compact. Makes for a nice presentation when setting the table for a couple of guests. Perhaps not the least expensive option available, but I do think they are worth it. Very sharp and overall a very attractive knife set with the storage block. I am very happy with this Dalstrong steak knife set and can wholeheartedly recommend it."

"When my son started having interest in learning how to cook, the first knife I bought him was of course his chef knife. . . A Dalstrong. It's been an exceptional blade for him and when I saw this set of Dalstrong Steak Knives I knew this was the perfect addition to his kit. The knives came very carefully packaged and well protected and included the four knifes, a beautiful storage block and the Dalstrong ""swag"" (a very nice pin and a couple stickers of the logo). The knives are clearly high quality and they have a very comfortable feel when holding them. The handles are absolutely gorgeous and the blade's embellishments are a perfect complement. They're VERY sharp straight out of the box and cut beautifully. This set is a bit on the pricey side, but there's no question that in this case you get what you pay for. All in all this is a truly wonderful set of steak knives from a quality manufacturer."

The holder is very sturdy and made out of wood in angled shape (a very wide Vee) to sit sturdily on the counter. I like these much better than our old serrated steak knives. The cut through meat like a hot knife through butter."
