"I do enjoy this knife roll for the materials it is made with. I can keep any tool I imagine, as long as it is under 12 inches. I however cannot imagine filling every slot in the roll. I do not think it would be feasible to carry. As it stands, I have every other filled, and it feels maxed out. With it “maxed out” for me, I find if I tilt the bag at all on my shoulder, I will have a knife fall out, which we all no is no bueno. I have not used it in a few years in favor of a more reliable bag."

I will start by

"I will start by saying THIS KNIFE ROLL WILL HOLD 18"" KNIVES! I am not sure why Dalstrong states only 15"" knives. I have a 12"" slicer as well as a 12"" cimeter that both measure 18"" from tip of the handle to the tip of the blade guards and when placed inside the pockets that hold the handles I have no issues folding the flap over securing the knives in place. There is still about a half inch to spare. The stitching and materials are excellent. The pockets that hold the handles are so good that I don't even use the velcro strap to hold the knives in place, they stay using the pockets themselves. One thing that I really like is the extra compact design you get by having knives stored with the handles on both sides of the roll. I carry 12+ full size knives and my last knife roll had all of the handles to one side which worked but when rolled up it created a bulkiness on one side of the roll. Being able to alternate sides with this design eliminates a lot of that bulk and makes for a much more compact/slim knife roll."
