WHY ARRO

The knife set, edited.

What those differences mean for your everyday prep.

Compare the systems

Common trade-offs; traditional sets vary.

ARRO

Five knives, one smooth system.

 TRADITIONAL BLOCK

Common trade-offs; traditional sets vary.
In the set 5 purpose-built knives

Cover everyday prep without sorting through duplicate blades.

 Extra or duplicate blades

More knives to store, even when you reach for the same few every day.
In your hand 113g chef knife

Less weight to lift with each cut, for a lighter feel through long prep.

 Heavier knives

More weight in every cut can tire your hand sooner during long prep jobs.
On the counter 24mm sculptural storage

The slim block fits beside appliances, keeping more counter clear for prep.

 Deep, bulky storage

Less clear counter space for your chopping board and ingredients.
Access Horizontal or vertical

Choose side or top access to suit the way your kitchen is arranged.

 One fixed orientation

You have to arrange your prep space around the block and its access angle.
Putting knives away Marked, magnetized slots

Find each blade's home quickly, with magnets to guide it into place.

 Unmarked, non-magnetic slots

More trial and error finding the right slot, without magnets to guide the blade.
