Featuring a pointed tip for ease of piercing (and differing from the standard Gladiator Series 12" slicer) as well as hollowed out dimples for minimizing friction and stuck on food, this blade is engineered to maintain the freshness of the ingredients it cuts through ultra clean slices. The slightly taller than normal blade profile allows for improved pinch grip and control, while also allowing the blade to perform chops, something most other sujihiki cannot perform.
This hybrid is a highly versatile slicer and great addition to any carver, meat slicer or BBQ'ers knife roll. Featuring a beautiful, ergonomic and ambidextrous black G10 handle, the Gladiator Series slicer is carefully designed for maximum comfort and maneuverability.
The knife is as pleasing to hold as it is to look at, featuring a perfectly engineered balance with a satisfying heft and presence. Perfectly weighted to handle both thicker, heavy duty cuts and more delicate detail work. The hand polished bolster adds counter weight and offers finger protection, while the triple rivets (with signature Dalstrong center rivet) in the handle ensures the highest level of strength and robustness.
