Wood Handle Issues: Knife handles that are not properly maintained and cared for may deteriorate. Wood handles that have been placed in the dishwasher, left to soak in water, or exposed to high-acidic foods or other harsh chemicals for long periods of time are not covered under this warranty.

Dull Knives: Knives that are not used or maintained properly in order to retain their edge. Proper and regular use of a honing rod and periodic sharpening with a whetstone are strongly advised to maintain the edge of your knife blade to the factory standard. Knives that are neglected or improperly used, such as cutting bone, frozen foods, hard-shelled foods (shellfish, coconut, etc), prying, twisting or bending, and cutting on hard surfaces such as marble, glass, ceramic, or granite will likely render your blade unusable.

Rust/Discoloration: Knives or other culinary tools (including cookware) that are crafted of high-carbon steel that are not maintained properly and are left in standing water, soaked in water, exposed to high-acidic foods or other harsh chemicals for long periods of time, not dried immediately after washing, or stored in wet/damp locations will cause steel oxidation.

How do I return a product?

How should I clean my Dalstrong knives?

Hand wash with warm water and mild soap immediately after use, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. This preserves the blade’s edge and prevents water spots or corrosion.

Never put your Dalstrong knives in the dishwasher. The high heat and harsh detergents can damage the blade edge and handle materials over time.

How do I keep my knives sharp?

How should I store my knives?
