This was no fault

"This was no fault of Dalstrong. This was a problem with the delivery. They dropped it in front of the door in plain site and it was stolen. Even though the delivery instructions say to put deliveries on the shelf out of site from the road. literally 3 feet to the right but he was too lazy to follow directions. will re order and try again. Paid for the knife and says it was delivered and it never showed up. I love my other dalstrong knives and this was not a cheap knife. very disapointed."

"To be honest I was expecting it to be a little bigger by watching the video. I did see that it is 14 inches, but I just looks small. I tried using it once so far to cut a frozen pizza. It did seem a little awkward to cut a pizza with. But probably because it's my 1st time using a knife like that. I look forward to using it more going forward."

"This is a knife. A pizza knife, but still, a knife. Steel is to a knife, as the mind is to a person. It is the foundation, and without a good foundation (ie a good STEEL), it all falls down. So any review of a knife that ignores the steel at play, isn't much of a review. I'd like to start this review with a discussion of the foundational basis for this blade, AUS-10 steel. The following is ""An Overview of AUS-10 Steel"" from Noblie. eu:""AUS-10 steel is a high-carbon stainless steel known for its impressive balance of hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It features a carbon content that provides excellent edge retention while still being relatively easy to sharpen. The addition of vanadium enhances its wear resistance, making knives crafted from AUS-10 capable of withstanding rigorous use. This steel is often compared to other well-known materials like VG-10, offering a competitive alternative with a slightly different performance profile. Its ability to maintain a sharp edge, coupled with its durability, makes it a popular choice for culinary, outdoor, and tactical knives. ""So that gives us a great deal of information about what to expect from our AUS-10 blade. It boasts a high corrosion resistance (working with acidic tomato sauce? Check. . . ), high hardness (you shouldn't have to sharpen it every day), and good toughness. . . it'll take pounding into the cutting board again and again and again. We can also see that it'll be relatively easy to sharpen. . . I say ""relatively"" because AUS-10 can be hardened to about 60 HRC, so while it can be technically 'easy to sharpen', you may need something better than a ""draw-sharpener"" or an Arkansas stone to sharpen it up. It's ""easy to sharpen"" on diamond stones or ceramic rod hones. So make sure you have sharpening tools up to the task of sharpening something up to 60 harness. I have to say, Dalstrong picked a good steel to use in this pizza knife. AUS-10 is definitely a fantastic choice here, and I have no complaints whatsoever. As far as the rest of it. . . the G-10 handles offer a fantastic purchase, when it came out of the box, it came out WICKEDLY sharp. Most knives out of the box can use a ""touch up"", but not this one. It's ready to be put into action the minute you take it out of the box, after a quick (and very careful) hand-wash. And looks? This should be featured on an episode of ""Star Trek"". It reminds me of a Klingon Bat'leth, and I want to see a Klingon chef prepare a Targ with it. Yeah. It's THAT cool looking. Its time to throw my old pizza knife away. It has been replaced. 5 stars."
