The majority of Barbarian Series blades are forged from premium Swedish 14C28N Super Steel, known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and sharpness. However, some of the more heavy-knives such as the Venator and Obliterator, used for processing tougher cuts, are crafted from 7CR17MOV-X stainless steel, offering added thickness while still maintaining durability, impact resistance, and toughness.

The Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating enhances the blade’s durability, corrosion resistance, and smoothness. This coating reduces friction, making slicing easier and cleaner, while also providing a striking, rugged look. It helps protect the blade from rust, wear, and the harsh conditions often found in outdoor or high-heat cooking environments.

The Barbarian Series features stabilized wood handles that provide a rugged, textured grip. This natural material, combined with steel jimping along the tang, offers superior control even in greasy or wet conditions.
