S35VN powdered steel is an ultra-premium American hyper-steel with a high carbon level of 1.4%. This makes it harder and allows it to hold a sharper edge. Chromium, vanadium, and molybdenum are added to enhance the steel's toughness, strength, wear, and corrosion resistance. Niobium is added for even greater durability. Powder Metallurgy technology is used to produce the steel, which offers a cleaner finish, easier grinding, and less chipping. It is the ideal choice for high-performance knives.
